### KPV | Inflammatory Signaling Research Peptide
KPV—short for lysine-proline-valine—is a compact tripeptide derived from the C-terminal sequence of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH). It is studied for its potential to modulate inflammatory signaling while retaining key properties associated with the parent melanocortin peptide.
Preclinical research suggests that KPV can reduce activation of NF-κB, a transcription factor involved in regulating inflammatory mediators and cellular stress responses. Through this pathway, KPV has been investigated for its effects on cytokine signaling, immune-cell activity, and inflammatory responses within epithelial tissue.
